Pizza for Planet is not separate from SCCAN’s mission — it is a practical mechanism for achieving it.
Every slice purchased directly supports community‑led climate action. The business is therefore both a trading activity and a mission‑delivery tool.
Climate Action
Climate Action is grossly underfunded in Scotland. It competes with lots of other services while Billionaires dodge tax, extract wealth from our environment and actively fund misinformation and practices that harm the viability of our planet for now and future generations.
Community
Every slice sold is steeped in community. Not only do we employ local people but profits are reinvested into local community projects. Each community will decide how they wish to use the funding. We have aspirations to also locally source all our ingredients.
